Couple styling
For this assignment, I created a couple styling look inspired by Lacoste and the tennis/preppy style. This was a challenge for me, because sporty styling is not something I would normally choose or work with. I usually feel more connected to feminine and romantic styling, so this concept pushed me out of my comfort zone.
I wanted to keep the look sporty, but still fashionable and polished. By using tennis elements, clean silhouettes, green and white tones, and preppy details, I created a look that felt connected to the Lacoste brand. This assignment taught me how to work with a different style while still giving it my own creative touch.
Magazine
For this assignment, we had to create a magazine based on our couple styling concept. I chose to turn my Lacoste preppy tennis styling into a magazine, so the whole project would feel like a real fashion campaign.
In the magazine, I wanted to show the sporty and preppy atmosphere of the concept through the photos, colours, layout and details. I used green, white and classic tennis elements to connect everything back to the Lacoste brand. The magazine helped me present the styling in a more professional way and made the concept feel complete, like it could be part of a real brand story.
